Executive Transportation is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining our gasoline-powered vehicles. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations and fluid checks.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent – Technical School Training Preferred.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certificate or equivalent a plus.
- Proven experience as an auto technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of gasoline engines and vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams.
- Valid Driver’s License.

- 8:00am to 5:00pm – Monday through Friday.
- All shifts start and end at Executive Transportation’s office in Newport, KY.
- $25.00 to $27.00 / Hour Depending on Experience.

- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
- Perform routine inspections of the bus, including checking fuel, oil and water levels. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure passengers follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and always being aware of passenger needs.
- Maintain effective communication with passengers, co-workers and dispatch.
- Complete necessary paperwork including but not limited to trip logs, mileage records and inspection reports.
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as accidents or breakdowns, in a calm and efficient manner.
- Possessing a safety focus at all times.
- Adhering to all DOT regulations.
- Flexible work schedule / Ability to work either full or part time.
- Varies – Days and hours will depend on when reservations are scheduled.
- Most trips are local and regional with some extended overnight jobs (if interested) out of region.
- Occasionally some trips may be 8+ hours.

- Starts at $23.00 / hour for Class A or B CDL with Passenger Endorsement License.

OVERVIEW
Express Mobile Transportation, a division of Executive Transportation, is seeking a reliable and compassionate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey. The NEMT Driver plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who may face mobility challenges, providing a valuable service that contributes to their overall healthcare experience.
- Must be at least 25 years of age or older (Insurance Requirement).
- Valid Drivers License.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Previous experience in non-emergency medical transportation or related field is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and DOT Physical.
- Familiarity with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and secure mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, as needed.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of local roadways and geography.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Safely transport seniors and people with mobility challenges to/from hospitals, doctor appointments, senior living facilities, family gatherings, etc.
- Ability to push clients in wheelchairs as well as get them into van.
- Ensure all passengers are carefully secured in our customized wheelchair vans
- Performing pre and post inspections of vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues promptly.
- Having empathy and being able to treat all passengers with dignity, respect and honor.
- Always being aware of passenger needs
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, healthcare providers and dispatch personnel. Ensure all clients are informed about pick-up and drop-off times.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Follow assigned schedules and routes to pick-up and drop-off clients promptly. Notify dispatch of any delays or changes in the schedule.
- Possessing a safety focus at all times.
- Follow all local, state and federal regulations related to non-emergency medical transportation.
- Complete accurate and detailed trip logs, documenting mileage, times and any relevant information. Submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Foster a positive and comfortable experience for all passengers.
- Mid Shift – Approximately 12pm to 8pm
- Schedule includes Friday and one weekend day
- Flexible work schedule and can work full or part time
- Hours will vary depending on when reservations are made
- All shifts start and end at Executive Transportation’s office in Newport
- Starts at $15.00 / hour
- After 60 days pay increases to $16.00 / hour
